Meet the Staff
Dr. Lara Phillips, Dentist
"I am very excited to be a part of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile because it is on the cutting edge of overcoming so many treatment barriers that many children face and in doing so, we are providing care to those in need."
Dr. Lara Phillips graduated magna cum laude from Hendrix University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2004. She earned her D.D.S. degree with honors from the University of Tennessee at Memphis in 2008. She is very passionate about improving the oral health care of children in the state of Arkansas. Furthermore, Dr. Phillips works diligently to give the children of Northwest Arkansas a positive experience, as many are visiting a dentist for the first time.
Sarah Bohannan, Program Manager
"I love my job and feel truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful program that positively changes so many lives in our community."
Sarah was raised in Dallas, Texas but quickly became an Arkansas Razorback fan as she moved to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Level Education with a minor in English. She now lives in Huntsville with her husband J.W. and her two adorable puppies, which she says, "Make her smile everyday!"
Shawna Lindsey, Certified Dental Assistant (and Care Mobile driver)
"I feel blessed to know that my job is changing lives every day!"
Shawna has been in dentistry for almost 10 years and her passion has been, and still is, working with children. She works diligently to make the idea of dentistry a positive experience for children so they will continue to embrace it in the future. Shawna is married to Tony Lindsey and they are expecting their first child in December of 2010. In her spare time, Shawna enjoys spending time with family and friends and working around her house.
